45 MIN / 60 MIN MONDAY TO SATURDAY from 4pm.
Pupils between ages 6-8 years move to the Red ball stage 1, 2 or 3 based upon their rallying competence. Pupils learn to become independent players and can "serve, rally and score" by themselves using our Play Based Approach Methodology.
The emphasis in red ball is learning to play the game [rally and score] with strokes development in accordance with the skill and cognitive level of students. Social skills are emphasised in this stage due to pupils having to take turns, work together in pairs, cooperate, listen and engage in challenges.
PLAY THE GAME - Red Ball League
Our coaching and competitions pathways are aligned. Therefore as soon as you participate in Red ball coaching you may also enter our Red ball leagues held during school terms on a Friday at East Malvern Tennis Club from 4-4.45pm.
Endorsed by Tennis Australia and supervised by qualified coaches, Futures Tennis conduct graded Red Ball leagues 1,2 and 3 for more advanced players. Our online ladder gives kids a weekly update on how their going and our end of term "Presentation & Pizza" night is always a huge hit.
